Use case
How to build a club membership app with AI
A membership club mostly needs to know who is a member, what tier they are on, and when their renewal is due. GrowApps builds that from a description of your membership tiers and benefits, with a real member database, renewal tracking and a live app a member can use as their digital card the same day.
What to include
The screens a club membership app needs.
- A membership tiers screen showing benefits and price for each level
- A sign up and renewal flow with a due date
- A digital member card or QR code for check in
- A benefits or perks list tied to the member's tier
- An admin screen showing active, lapsed and upcoming renewals
Try it yourself

This is a realistic starting prompt, not a placeholder. Change the names, numbers and details to your own before you use it.
Build a membership app for my climbing gym, Ascend Athens. Offer 2 tiers: Basic at 30 euros a month with gym access, and Plus at 50 euros a month with gym access and 2 guest passes. Let a member sign up, see their tier and renewal date, and show a QR code at the front desk for check in. Give me an admin screen listing members whose renewal is due in the next 7 days.
What GrowApps sets up
The parts you would otherwise wire up by hand.
Sign in for members
Every member gets an account so their tier, renewal date and check in history are tied to them.
A members and tiers database
Tiers, benefits, renewal dates and check ins are all stored and kept current as members join or renew.
Payments
Stripe handles recurring membership billing, so a tier renews automatically unless a member cancels.
A live link
The app is live at a shareable link the moment the preview is ready, so a new member can sign up from their phone.
Ready for Google Play
For an installable digital membership card, GrowApps prepares the file Google Play asks for and walks you through the store steps.
Honest limits
What a first build will not get right.
Membership tiers, recurring billing and a QR check in screen are a normal first build. Scanning that QR code at a physical front desk needs a scanner device or a phone camera set up for it, which is a small extra step beyond the app itself. Family or shared memberships, where several people sit under one billing account, add real complexity and usually need a second pass once the core single member flow is working.
Cost
What building this costs in credits.
A first build like this uses about 4 credits on average. New accounts get starter credits plus 1 free credit a day, up to 10 a month, no card required. Standard is 20 US dollars a month for 20 credits, Pro is 200 a month for 300, and unused credits roll over for a month.
Frequently asked questions
What people ask before building a club membership app.
Can the app charge membership fees automatically every month?
Yes. Payments can be set up as recurring billing, so a member's tier renews on its own unless they cancel.
Can members use the app as a digital membership card?
Yes. A QR code or member ID screen can be added for check in at the front desk.
Can I see which members are about to lapse?
Yes. An admin screen can list members by renewal date, so you know who is due before they lapse.
Describe your club membership app and see it built.
