    Export your code

Your app's complete code in one zip file, yours to keep. It includes the iOS (Xcode) project, so a developer can take your app to the App Store.

    • Every plan
    • One zip file
    • Any time

    Download the code

Open App assets and press Export source code. The download starts after a few seconds. In Export, the App Store page has an Export the code button that does the same.

    What is in the zip

    • Your app. The Flutter code that runs your preview and your website: one codebase for iOS, Android and the web.
    • The ios folder. The iOS project, ready to open in Xcode, the Apple tool for building iPhone apps. It already has your app's name and icon, and an app ID (ai.growapps.apps. followed by your app name) that your developer can keep or change.
    • README_IOS.md. A short note written for your developer: what is already set up and the steps to build and publish the iPhone app. You do not need to follow it yourself. Send them the zip.
    • Your chat with GrowApps. So whoever works on the code next can see why the app is the way it is.

Your keys and passwords are not in the zip. They stay in GrowApps.

Take it to the App Store

One Flutter codebase for iOS, Android and the web. Publish to Google Play from GrowApps; for the App Store, publish with your own Apple developer account. GrowApps does not build the iPhone app file or send it to Apple for you. You, or a developer you work with, do that part.

    You will need

    • A Mac with Xcode, which is free from Apple
    • An Apple developer account in your name or your company name
    • The zip from this page
    1. Send the zip to your developer

README_IOS.md tells them what is ready and what is left, including anything special your app needs on iPhone.

    2. They open the iOS project in Xcode

On the Mac, they open the ios folder in Xcode, sign the app with your Apple developer account and try it on an iPhone.

    3. They publish it with your Apple account

They create the app in App Store Connect, upload the build and send it to Apple for review. Apple reviews every app before it goes live.

Sign-in, saved data and AI on iPhone. In the iPhone build these may need your app to have its own Firebase project first. README_IOS.md explains this to your developer.

No Mac? Your app still works on iPhone

Every app also runs on iPhone from its live link. Open it in Safari, tap the Share button and choose Add to Home Screen, and it opens like an app. For Android you do not need the code at all: see Google Play and the App Store.
